About The Author

My name is Teresa Pelham and I’ve been a writer for three decades, having written for the Hartford Courant and many other publications. In addition to my four children’s books benefiting dog rescue, I was also commissioned to write a children’s book for Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation. I am the mother of three grown children and three step-children. My husband and I recently relocated from Farmington, Connecticut to Parsonsfield, Maine.

About Roxy, Stuey & Javier

Roxy, Stuey and Javier — rescue dogs from Tennessee and Texas — are happy little brown dogs now living in Maine. Their human mom was so inspired by the love and dedication of the rescue volunteers who saved them that she has now written four books to benefit dog rescue.

Roxy’s favorite things include sleeping and meeting new dogs and new people. Stuey spends his days watching out the window for potential intruders and people walking down the street. And Javier is a big fan of sleeping in strange places and running in circles in his yard. They all love bully sticks and scratches behind their ears.
